GSLP represents an extension of the many resources provided by the unique partnership of the International Center for Leadership in Education and the Successful Practices Network. Together, these two organizations continue to provide educators with an effective platform for distributing the world's best practices to teachers and administrators in schools.
Founded in 1991, the International Center for Leadership in Education has a wealth of experience in assisting schools and districts in implementing organizational changes that translate into world-class curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems. International Center staff, keynote speakers and consultants, and trainers share their expertise in the management of change, achieving high standards, curriculum development and customized solutions for our clients.
Since 2003, the Successful Practices Network has found innovative ways to share strategies, practices, research, data and experiences with K-12 educators. Over the last five years, the Network has grown from a small cadre of good schools committed to becoming great schools to a national network. We have been making continuous enhancements to our member services based on what we have learned from:
- Our 600 member K-12 schools in 38 states and Canada.
- Our 75 high schools supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and our partnership with the Council of Chief State School Officers.
- Survey information from member schools.
- Feedback from our team of more than 50 experienced educators
